At 26, Josef Druzak walked a path shaped by both hardship and hope. After leaving high school to care for his ailing father, Josef earned his GED while working to support his family. Following his father’s passing, he spent years in jobs that left him feeling unfulfilled—until he decided to make a change. At 24, he enrolled at CCBC and discovered a passion for criminal justice, inspired by his goal to serve as an FBI or CIA agent. Along the way, he managed college responsibilities while his mother worked multiple jobs to support his dream. In 2024, Josef took another bold step, enlisting in the U.S. Navy as a Combat Corpsman. With graduation approaching and boot camp on the horizon, Josef credits CCBC with helping him find his confidence again. For the first time in years, he feels happy, accomplished, and ready to serve with pride.
